Pharmacy Residency Programs

PGY1 Residencies

Regional Medical Center at Memphis offers an outstanding PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program that is accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. The hospital serves as a primary teaching site for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and College of Pharmacy, as well as serving as training for many other health care professionals.

The program is a one-year, full-time post-graduate experience. The purpose of the residency is to prepare pharmacist clinicians for patient care or specialist positions, adjunct faculty positions, or to pursue PGY2 training in a focused area of practice. Application to the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program is using PhORCAS and requires the following by January 10th:

  • CV
  • Three letters of reference using standardized PhORCAS template
  • Transcript with class ranking (or supplemental class ranking)
  • Limited onsite interviews are offered

Applicants may apply for PGY1 (match number 158713) or PGY1 in the Ambulatory Setting (match number 158725) or both.
