Regional One Health is committed to the health well-being of the communities we serve. Reinvesting in the health and development of our communities is central to who we are as Memphis’ leading academic healthcare institution. Regional One Health has consistently fulfilled its responsibility to the community, not only by providing high quality medical care, but also by committing resources year after year to a variety of programs and services that benefit the community through education, prevention and support. Beyond delivering on our mission, Regional One Health makes a substantial investment in the communities we serve through our community benefit and outreach initiatives.

What Is Community Benefit?

Community benefits are programs or activities that provide treatment or promote health and healing as a response to identified community needs in such a way as to increase awareness of medical or health knowledge, improve the health of the community, or expand residents’ access to health care services.

Regional Medical Center’s community benefits includes education, charity care, subsidized health services, community health improvement activities and more.
