Regional Medical Center strives to improve the quality of life in our community, and the hospital understands that a healthy community begins with an engaged community. We know that individuals engaged in their own health are motivated to create something better for this community than we can ever imagine. As the only Level 1 trauma center in Memphis and within a 150 mile radius, Regional Medical Center recognizes our responsibility to our residents, charitable organizations, and community investors who give selflessly to improve the quality of life of this community. We understand the value of capacity building and collaboration, which is fostered through community partnerships of organizations that share like missions. It is our due diligence to inspire our employees everyday to provide exceptional care within our walls, but to also extend this same compassion throughout our service region to enhance the lives of others.
Regional Medical Center is proud to support a wide array of community endeavors that strengthen and improve the overall health and wellness of the residents in our service areas. In order to provide the most sufficient support, we ask that requests be submitted online and include a detailed description of the event (also include any accompanying documents). Please be mindful that requests are viewed for consideration on a monthly basis.
Our Priorities
Preference is given to the programs related to health services and to those in communities serviced by Regional Medical Center, which are outlined below. Each program concentrates on improving the health and well-being of the people we serve by providing compassionate care and exceptional services.
Health Awareness
One goal of Regional Medical Center is to educate individuals on how to have an overall better quality of life. We are focused on ensuring that quality health is offered throughout our service area. These programs will promote linking people to needed quality healthcare services, while assisting communities in developing programs to improve access. Examples of our support include:
Health Improvement & Education
Regional Medical Center places a tremendous value on innovation, technological advancement, and excellent educational opportunities in the healthcare arena. With the vision to be the premier healthcare system dedicated to advancing the quality of life in our communities through collaboration with our academic partners, we foster efforts to address improving the health of our community and educating those we serve on how to be healthier individuals. The interest in math, science and healthcare has declined with newer generations and we make it our responsibility to promote these areas in our community. Our programmatic support lends itself to initiatives that:
Community Development
Regional Medical Center is proud to support a wide array of community endeavors that not only strengthen and improve the overall health and wellness of the residents we serve, but also programs that enhance the quality of life where we live, work, and play. We realize our social responsibility to the development of this community and know how important it is to support local cultural and civic initiatives in the areas we serve. Regional Medical Center sets aside a limited number of funds to meet these needs within our service communities each year.
