Pharmacy Practice Residency
Preceptors:

The Pharmacy Practice Program, a 12-month (2,000 hour minimum) program is composed of advanced pharmacy practice experience. Residents receive training and develop competence in acute care medicine, ambulatory care, drug information, drug use policy development and practice management. To fulfill these requirements, practice experiences are offered in:

Internal Medicine
Burn Intensive Care
Infectious Disease / AUE
Surgery / Anticoagulation
Nutritional Support
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Medicine Intensive Care
Ambulatory Care
Trauma Intensive Care
Neonatology
HIV-AIDS
Drug Information and Drug Use Policy Devlopment
Practice Management

  • The Regional Medical Center at Memphis, (The MED) is a 355-bed tertiary care facility.
