Wound Center

The Wound Center (WC) is a regional referral center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) in the Mid-south. The WC is organized as a physically and functional distinct unit within  the hospital complex and is one of the five centers of excellence at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis. The center serves as an outpatient clinic for the treatment of a wide range of acute chronic and non-healing wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, failing skin grafts, traumatic wounds and outpatient burns. The WC accepts referrals from the Divers Alert Network (DAN) for treating sport and commercial diving accident victims within the Mid-south.

The center also provides wound care and HBO services to inpatients within the hospital complex.
The center is located on the ground floor of the Jessie Turner Tower building " It is comprised of a waiting room, six exam rooms and a multiplace hyperbaric chamber that will accommodate up to twelve patients at a time.
