In observance of Sickle Cell awareness month, Regional Medical Center at Memphis is launching our 2012-2013 Sickle Cell Educational Series on September 21, 2012 at 9 a.m.
For more than 80 years, the Diggs-Kraus Sickle Cell Center has provided patient-centered and holistic care for sickle cell patients throughout the community. As we celebrate the advancements in the treatment of sickle cell disease and continue to raise awareness, we would like to invite you to our educational session with light breakfast provided on September 21, 2012 at 9 a.m.
The event will be held in our Outpatient Center, 880 Madison Avenue, 5th floor conference room. The educational session “Pain Management & Central Line Care” will be presented by Dr. Adams-Graves, and “Oral Care and Wellness” will be presented by Angela Hudson, RN, FNP.
Dr. Adams-Graves is a leader in research and patient education and a sought after national speaker. Most recently, she was the recipient of the Cannon Award for character, compassion and academic involvement. Angela Hudson, RN, FNP, is the newest member of your healthcare team. Angela, a family nurse practitioner brings more than 25 years of experience to the Diggs-Kraus Center.
