All too often, complications can arise during pregnancy. Age, diabetes, hypertension, and a variety of other
factors can contribute to these complications.
Each year the center successfully delivers more than 3,600 babies and about 25 percent of them are considered high-risk before birth. There are 1,500 regional referrals each year to the center because of complications in pregnanacy such as age, diabetes, hypertension, and other illnesses. The center understands the physical and emotional stresses of problematic pregnancies and treats not only the medical crises that occur but the mental exigencies as well.
