Rehabilitation Hospital

All patients admitted to Rehabilitation Hospital of Memphis (RHM) must meet certain criteria. A Certified Rehab Registered Nurse (CRRN) evaluates each patient for rehab potential.

Patients admitted must:

  • Have a rehab diagnosis
  • Be medically stable
  • Have a discharge plan
  • Tolerate at least three hours of therapy daily

Common reasons for admission include:

  • Brain injury
  • Burns
  • Major multiple trauma
  • Polyarthritis
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Stroke
